We are celebrating the countdown launch of London’s international festival of post-digital culture: Alpha-ville!
Join us next Friday 29th July, to explore Netil House, East London’s creative hub in the midst of Hackney’s artistic community, located in a reclaimed 1950s building minutes from Broadway Market. This dynamic space will host Alpha-ville’s exhibitions and be at the center of our events programme in September 2011. For the launch party we will take over Netil House’s Cafe and Terrace on the second floor, so come catch an urban sunset over the rooftops of Hackney!
We are excited to present a very special guest: MAX COOPER

who will delight us with a DJ set. The minimal techno producer is a star of the German label Traum Schallplatten.
“One of the greatest new talents to emerge on the dance scene in the last few years” – Skrufff.com

PLUS:
+ Ben Mursz and Trnk playing the sounds of Alpha-ville – get a taste of what to expect in September: Pantha Du Prince, Jon Hopkins, Emptyset, Illum Sphere…
+ KONSTRUKT – an augmented reality experience for iPhone created by James Alliban and Juliet Lall
And more surprises…
Join us for an evening of music and art!
Price £5 on the door or in adv via Resident Advisor.
Doors open 9pm close around 3am.
Netil House is located in 1 Westgate Street in Hackney – 2 mins from Broadway Market. Nearest bus stop is: St Joseph’s hospice Buses 48, 55, 26, 106, D6, 254, 388. Map
