Jacaszek is a talented polish electroacoustic musician and producer. He is the latest in a tradition of Eastern Europeans exploring the reaches of sentimentality in classical music. Described as “one of the most special and unique artists to come out of the UK” by Hyperdub first lady Ikonika. Hoya Hoya label co-owner Illum Sphere creates sound that draws influence from hip-hop as much as it does from psych, jazz and Detroit techno.

DIY WORKSHOP: Live Green Screen Compositing With Isadora

Participants will learn the basics about taking photos and go off and take their own pictures. The pictures have to be on the theme of “The Community You Live In”. Participants will then learn to upload, edit and make their photos into  movie with Final Cut Pro. They will then learn how to burn their short movie on a disc to take home with them. The whole process should take half an hour to 40 mins. We will play some of the work produced on a show-reel with the projector.

Helen Hockx-Yu leads a team of web archivists and technologists to archive and preserve the UK web. Previously, Helen was project manager of the Planets project, a four-year project co-funded by the European Union under the Sixth Framework Programme to address core digital preservation challenges.
