Alpha-ville is the London International Festival of Post-digital Culture bringing together a unique mix of music, films, new media and digital art exhibitions, technology, ideas, workshops, labs and a one-day symposium.
The festival has been running since 2009 in the heart of East London and is part of ICAS (International Cities of Advanced Sound), a network of independent non-profit organisations worldwide dedicated to advancing sound, music and related arts.
The festival is shaped around four programme strands: Art & Innovation, Exchange, Live and Screenings. Every year the festival provides a unique platform to showcase outstanding work, test new ideas, debate and knowledge exchange between web & digital professionals, artists, academics, students and the general public.
The organisation is committed to the development of digital culture and provides education, exhibition, distribution, creation and promotion of digital arts and culture through both the festival and wider activities.
